Welcome to Windy Hills Farm!

Located in the scenic hills of southeastern Ohio we are 6 miles from Athens, Ohio and Ohio University.

Windy Hills is a 150 acre farm with stabling for 12 horses and indoor and outdoor arenas. The farm has rolling pastures, trails and large and small round pens to help accomplish your riding goals. There are seven rental apartment / rental houses on the farm. Also located in in the large renovated dairy barn is Gerry’s firm, Hilferty and Associates, Museum Planning and Exhibit Design.

Windy Hills Farm is dedicated to providing a beautiful, safe and contemplative environment for its people and animals.

We are committed to preserving the farms historic architecture and aesthetics. We aim to provide a nurturing atmosphere for life long learning and design education.

We care for our Paso Fino horses in a natural environment and train them using Natural Horse-man-ship precepts and techniques. We are committed to the spread of these ideas and techniques as they benefit the horse and human relationship.
