Purina Horse Owners Workshop at Windy Hills Farm Mon March 19 at 6pm

Celebrate the coming of Spring with other horse lovers at our Purina Horse Owners Workshop Mon March 19th starting at 6pm.  This is our 4th year of hosting this event during Spring Break and it has proven to be very popular.  Come hear all the news from Purina, have an opportunity to discuss and ask important questions about horse care and go home with great prizes!  Brenda D. from Buckley Bros. in The Plains produces and hosts this event.  Our guest presenter will be Carol Goebel, 2 Star Parelli Instructor.  She will give a presentation on communicating with horses through the Seven Games, a must see demo, one that will further your understanding of your equine friend.

Parelli Workshops and Lessons

Coming in March / Spring Break 2012

Carol Goebel Licensed 2 Star Parelli Instructor will return to Windy Hills Farm on Sunday March 18 and Monday March 19th for 1-3 hr workshops in all 3 Levels in OnLine and Freestyle Savvys. Email Jackie to sign up for workshops and/or private lessons.  Workshops are for a group of 2-6 people and will cover material in that level of savvy.  The fee is $40/hr for the workshops.  You can sign up for 1-3 hrs.  Private lessons are for a more concentrated issue or helping to tweak your audition.  Fee for private lessons is $50/hr.  These workshops are appropriate for the very new beginner or the more experienced student.  Auditors are welcome for the fee of $25/day.  Stalls are available for $5/night and a $10 haul in fee is assessed to participants coming to the farm.

Sunday will start with Online Workshops beginning with Level 3 at 9am, then Level 2 and , Level 1 will be toward the afternoon hours.  Private lessons will follow these workshops.

Monday will start with Freestyle Workshops beginning with Level 3 at 9am, then Level 2 and Level 1 will be toward the afternoon hours.  Private lessons will follow these workshops.

A more detailed schedule will follow after the workshops fill.

Bring your own lunch and something to share if you are able.  Bring your own hay, grain, buckets.  We have Parelli equipment to loan if needed.

Parelli is not about a riding discipline, it is about safety, harmony and then refinement.  It is about having fun with your horse and developing a relationship.  It is not about rules, it is about principles and responsibilities.  It prepares you with a foundation that will optimize your dream with horses.
